  CN Tower - The CN Tower is the world's tallest tower and is Canada's most recognizable icon. The tower is 553.33 meters (1,815 feet) and was opened to the public June 26, 1976. In 1995, the CN Tower was declared on the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. (2)  The tower attracts approximately 2 million visitors each year. One of the most popular features on the tower is the 24 square meters of glass floor located at 113 stories above the ground. Visitors are allowed to stand on the glass and watch the street below their feet. This is not for the faint of heart or for those who have a fear of heights! There is also a 360 degree revolving restaurant located over 1,000 feet above the ground. This is a great place to grab a bite while taking in the spectacular views of the entire City.


 
  Toronto Zoo - At 710 acres, Toronto Zoo is the third largest zoo in the world and is home to over 16,000 animals. Year after year Toronto's Zoo is voted one of Toronto's favourite attraction and is a must see when visiting the area. The Zoo is divided into six unique zoogeographic regions: Indo-Malaya, Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Eurasia and the Canadian Domain. One popular part of the Zoo is the 5-acre Polar bear habitat that even has an underwater viewing area. You will also enjoy the Gorilla Rainforest, the Great Barrier and so many more really neat attractions at the Zoo. This is truly a great place that the whole family can enjoy.


 
  Hockey Hall of Fame- The Hockey Hall of Fame is a must see especially for those who enjoy the game of hockey. It is both a museum and a hall of fame which holds loads of exhibits about the players, teams and the National Hockey League (NHL). Here you will find neat memorabilia, records, trophies and even the famous Stanley Cup. The Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 1943 and is located in the heart of downtown Toronto.


 
  Helicopter Tours - This is the best way to view Toronto from an entirely different perspective and avoid all the congested streets and annoying traffic lights. Soar thousands a feet smoothly and safely over Canada's largest City. You will see Toronto's amazing downtown skyscrapers and get a birds eye view of Lake Ontario. There are many different helicopter tour companies offering different tours, so be sure to do some research and find the company that suites your needs the best. Also be sure to bring your camera along to capture some truly amazing aerial shots of this magnificent City.


 
  Royal Ontario Museum - Over a million visitors visit Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum which is Canada's largest museum of natural history and world history. The museum incorporates a unique mix of galleries to showcase art, archaeological objects and scientific specimens from around the world. The Museum holds such treasures as Egyptian mummies, dinosaurs, totem poles, medieval armour and other amazing archaeological artifacts and treasures. This Museum is massive and has over 6 million objects which are spread over three floors.  The museum is another must see when visiting Toronto.


 
  Centre Island - Centre Island is an island that is just off the shore of downtown Toronto and is just a few minutes away by ferry. It is also referred to as Toronto Island and is actually made up of a number of islands. Centre Island has over 600 acres of parkland and is home to Centreville Amusement Park, Franklin Childrens Garden and also offers numerous bicycle paths, eateries and more. Centreville Amusement Park is the islands most popular attraction and has more than 30 rides and games. You will not find scary roller coaster here but instead you will find rides such as ferris wheels, pony rides, bumper boats etc. You will also find a petting zoo, wading pools and a Frisbee golf course on the island. The islands attractions are only open from May to October, but the island is open year round.


 
  China Town- While in Toronto be sure to visit Toronto's Chinatown which is one of the largest in all of North America. There are a few Chinatowns in the Greater Toronto area, but the heart is centered on the intersection of Dundas Street and Spadina Ave and extends outward from there on both streets. Here you will find numerous authentic Chinese restaurants and shops. There are also two major malls located in the area: Dragon City and Chinatown Centre.  You will find that most shops in Chinatown open fairly early and close late in the day. Chinatown is known for its medical herbs, cheap sunglasses, shoes and fruits and vegetables.


 
 

Eaton Centre - Eaton Centre is Toronto's #1 tourist attraction and sees an amazing 1 million visitors each week. Eaton Centre is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The centre was built in 1979 and was modelled after the Galleria in Milan Italy. Eaton Centre was one of the first downtown shopping centres in North America. The mall is huge and has 285 shops to meet all your shopping needs. Eaton Centre is known for its unique architecture, culture and urban atmosphere. To make your shopping experience more enjoyable, try to take public transit to avoid driving hassles and expensive parking fees.


 
  Canada’s Wonderland- Canada's Wonderlands is located just 30 minutes north of Toronto. This is truly Canada's version of Disney World with more than 200 attractions, 65 rides, a water park and even a special play area for kids called KidZville.  The park also features Canada's biggest, fastest and tallest roller coaster which is fittingly called the Behemoth. The giant water park is a perfect place to cool off on a hot summers day. The park is over 20 acres and has high speed slides, tube rides and a huge wave pool. The water park is also kid friendly with smaller slides and a kids play area.


 
  Art Gallery of Ontario -The art gallery of Ontario is one of the largest art museums in North America and is over 583,000 square feet.  The gallery was founded in 1900 and now houses more than 79,000 works of art that spans from 100 A.D. to present day. The museum often hosts major exhibitions, so be sure to check to see what is being showcased during your visit.
