Orlando is a traveller’s delight. Walt Disney World Resort - Disney World needs no introduction. This famous entertainment and recreation center boasts of two water adventure parks, four theme parks, 32 resort hotels, five  golf courses, two spas, Disney's Wide World Sports Complex, Disney's Wedding Pavilion, and Downtown Disney's three-in-one complex for entertainment, shopping, and dining. There is absolutely no doubt it attracts a huge number of tourists, and once you are in Disney World, you are bound to be mesmerized knowing you can have so much fun in so little time.

To begin with, a visit to the four theme parks, namely- The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom, is a must. The hotels that have sporadically come up here offer scrumptious food, spas, and economical lounging facilities. Don’t miss the amazing parades and laser light shows here. If you are a golf enthusiast, there are five golf courses here to suit your fancy. What’s more, you can even indulge in some fishing here, for which no Florida fishing license is required, since this is a private property.   Universal Studios -Separated into seven areas, Universal Studios is an amusement park whose theme is the entertainment industry- particularly television and movies. A God-given for any movie enthusiast, Universal Studios features a TV-based theme park,  amusement park, and a studio. Ever imagined jumping right in the middle of your favorite motion picture? You can do just that here and feel the excitement of being a star in the greatest movies of all time. This amazing film and TV production facility has an incredible array of shows, movie sets, rides, and attractions. And yes- don’t be surprised if you encounter a real film crew here!


 
  Gatorland - Home to Florida’s very own gators and crocodiles, Gatorland has been a continuous source of entertainment since the 1940's. If you want to witness the old Florida charm, there is no better place than Gatorland to do so. It offers two birthday party packages while also aiming to be educational, which is great for kids and family outings. Gatorland is also an active research center and alligator farm, and offers immense research and learning opportunities. You can also plan your wedding at one of its many banquet facilities. Gatorland's Gator Gully Splash Park is a fabulous way to have some fun and cool your heels off doing so while you spend time in sunny Miami.


 
 

Sea World - This 200 acre marine adventure park offers you the opportunity to interact with killer whales, sea lions, dolphins, otters, stingrays, and several other ocean creatures. The killer whale show ‘Believe’ has always been a spectator favorite. Whosoever visits Orlando should spare enough time for Sea World, since it is an outstanding place to admire spectacular marine life while also enjoying the  rollercoaster rides such as Kraken, Manta, and Journey To Atlantis. You can take a reprieve from the hot sun outside to witness ‘Terrors of the Deep’ indoors. Don’t miss the Shark Encounter, wherein you will be made to pass through a submerged acrylic tube that leads to the sharks' tank. Wild Arctic also offers a simulating helicopter ride to the Arctic that lands guests in a simulated base station. Shamu’s Happy Harbor is an extensive playground for children here.


 
  Wet ‘n Wild - Wet ‘n Wild has the distinction of being the best water park of the United States. Feel the experience of world-class rides, multi-passenger tube rides, hypnotizing water thrills, and splendid waterfalls on the Lazy River. For children, the Kids' Park is a dream come true. Adults can sunbathe here, or challenge themselves to a heart-thumping 76 feet freefall off the Bomb Bay. Wet 'n Wild is the perfect entertainment and relaxing destination for the entire family. Enjoy the Der Stuka, Mach 5, Surge, Bubba Tub, Black Hole, and many more rides.


 
  Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf - Florida is known as the  Golfstate, and rightly so. Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf has two golf courses named Captain’s Paradise and Blackbeard’s Challenge Course. Both are very well maintained and provide ample opportunities for people to enjoy mini golf. The pirate and captain themes are great and well continued consistently throughout the course. There are animated pirates around the course that talk, and at each hole, there is a sign informing folks about the history of different pirates.


 
  Kennedy Space Center -NASA's Kennedy Space Center is well known throughout the world. It is a haven for science enthusiasts, but is also very popular amongst regular tourists and locals. Kennedy Space Center delves into how the NASA space program came to be. A visit to the Kennedy Space Center is in itself a great learning experience. Moreover, there are humungous five-and-a-half story IMAX movie screens to watch videos about Kennedy Space Center's explorations. Experience a walk through a Shuttle orbiter- though it isn’t real, of course, it’s a great replica of the real deal. You can also catch a glimpse of the rockets and machines that helped launch humans into space.


 
  Winter Park - Winter Park consists of four art and history museums. The galleries donning the jewel-like museum include a wide range of jewelry, lamps, glass and paintings. The atmosphere is soothing and provides a relaxing spot to rest and soak in the charm of the museum. You can even plan a leisurely cruise on the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour. The tour in the scenic lakes is tranquil indeed, and also gives people sneak peek into Orlando’s wealthy estates and the Rollins College campus.


 
  La Nouba - La Nouba is a show by the famous Cirque Du Soleil, and is the most artistic and extraordinary  circus in Florida that features trapeze artists, wire-walkers, gymnasts and many other unique performers. It sparks the imagination of all and sundry and appeals to a wide audience, be it the young or old.


 
  Discovery Cove -If you have ever entertained the thought of swimming with dolphins, visit Discovery Cove beside Sea World. Don’t forget to  snorkel and soak in the sights of colorful reef, sharks, barracudas and underwater shipwrecks and grottos. Boat your way down the tropical river and the freshwater lagoon, and watch the rocky waterfalls. Discovery Cove is just like an exotic island paradise with its white sandy beaches, and is sure to lift anyone’s spirits up.
