Introduction:

Cave diving is a specialized type of scuba diving which involves the exploration of water filled caves. It is one of the worlds most dangerous activities as there is very little margin for error. Cave diving requires special equipment and safety measures and should only be attempted by the most experienced scuba divers who have the required training and equipment.

* In Florida, there have been 374 cave diving deaths recorded by the International Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery.(1)
