Introduction:

Did you ever dream of being a pilot? Thanks to advances in computers you can now feel what it is like to fly a jumbo jet without endangering the passengers. A flight simulator is a computer system that copies, or simulates the experience of flying an aircraft and is meant to be as realistic as possible. Some simulators are full-size replicas of cockpits that are mounted on hydraulic actuators and are controlled by state of the art computer technology.(1)
